NBC and Peacock have released a new promo for the finale of Saturday Night Live's 49th season, featuring Jake Gyllenhaal. In the video, a jovial Gyllenhaal attempts to sign Marcello Hernández’s SNL Finale Yearbook- with mixed results. The episode will air Saturday, May 18 on NBC (11:30 p.m. - 1 a.m. ET). The final guests for Season 49 of Saturday Night Live have been announced as Maya Rudolph and Jake Gyllenhall. Maya Rudolph will host “SNL” for the third time on May 11. The five-time Emmy Award winner currently stars in and executive produces the second season of Loot. Jake Gyllenhaal will host the May 18 season finale, returning as host for the third time. He makes his series debut as star and executive producer of “Presumed Innocent,” premiering June 12 on Apple TV+. 

Universal Music Publishing Group has announced that legendary tenor Andrea Bocelli has been signed to an exclusive, global publishing agreement through UMPG's Classics & Screen department.

Co-written by Amelia, the song features writing credits from Caroline Pennell (Demi Lovato, Ava Max), Jackson Lee Morgan (Sabrina Carpenter, Machine Gun Kelly) Charles Roberts Nelsen, and Kyle Buckley. The production was led by Inverness (Natalie Jane, Jessie Murph) and Pink Slip (Estef, Phangs, Truitt).

Reneé Rapp says that after a year away from acting in Mean Girls, she is developing new projects with people she 'really, really' likes. Rapp recently told us that she's thinks it would be 'really cool' to write music for a Broadway musical with 'the right story.'

The Times Square Alliance and Countdown Entertainment, the co-organizers of Times Square New Year’s Eve, have revealed the official Times Square New Year’s Eve event lineup, which will feature live performances by Flo Rida, Paul Anka, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla, Sabrina Carpenter, Jelly Roll, Maria Becerra, and Yng Lvcas.

The New York lineup for “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024,” the nation’s most-watched New Year’s Eve celebration, has been announced. Ryan Seacrest and his 2024 co-host, Rita Ora, will lead festivities from New York’s Times Square, with a lineup of Megan Thee Stallion, Jelly Roll, Sabrina Carpenter and Tyla.

The show will feature select performances by this year’s biggest artists, including Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, Niall Horan, OneRepublic, Sabrina Carpenter, Jelly Roll, Doechii, Paul Russell, Melanie Martinez, David Kushner, AJR, Pentatonix, Big Time Rush and a performance from Cher, including her smash hit “Believe,' celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Cher has been added to the lineup for iHeartRadio Z100’s Jingle Ball 2023 Presented by Capital One. The star-studded lineup also features Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, OneRepublic, Sabrina Carpenter, Jelly Roll, Big Time Rush, Doechii, Pentatonix, David Kushner, Melanie Martinez and a special performance from Cher.
