This 5-time Lucille Lortel award nominated new musical by The Bengsons and Sarah Gancher (Hundred Days) was commissioned and developed by Ars Nova.

Beck and Wright's collaboration on the “Colors” video has resulted in something completely alien yet strangely familiar, as if an extraterrestrial culture had accidentally intercepted a transmission of a Busby Berkeley film—and chosen to create their own sequel.

Linda Shelton, Executive Director of The Joyce Theater Foundation, Inc., announced today that Aaron Mattocks will take over as Director of Programming, effective February 1, 2018. Mattocks replaces Martin Wechsler, who stepped down at the end of 2017 after 32 years at The Joyce, 22 of those as Director of Programming, helping to transform the organization into the world's leading presenter of dance.

Jody Sperling has been selected as one of the nominees for a World Choreography Award in the Motion Picture Category for The Dancer. At the ceremony, she will also perform an as-yet-unseen solo that was originally choreographed for the film, but was never recorded.

The World Choreography Awards announced today that seasoned actor/dancer Kenny Wormald will host the seventh annual World Choreography Awards, taking place at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills, Calif. on Monday, Oct. 23.

Maddie Ziegler reunites with Sia in the video for the new song 'Rainbow,' written by Sia for the soundtrack of MY LITTLE PONY: THE MOVIE. Ziegler, best known for her appearance on the reality series DANCE MOMS, first worked with Sia in her 2014 music video for 'Chandelier'.
