Lortel Nominated THE LUCKY ONES Extends To April 28

In response to popular demand and critical acclaim, Ars Nova 'one of the most adventurous Off-Broadway companies' (New York Times), piece by piece productions and Z Space extends the world premiere of The Lucky Ones until April 28. This 5-time Lucille Lortel award nominated new musical by The Bengsons and Sarah Gancher (Hundred Days) was commissioned and developed by Ars Nova.

Available exclusively at apple.co/ColorsMusicVideo, “Colors” is the dazzling new video directed by Edgar Wright (Baby Driver, The Cornetto Trilogy, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World), that brings the title track of Beck's current album to vivid multi-hued life, aided and abetted by kinetic choreography by Ryan Heffington. Beck and Wright's collaboration on the “Colors” video has resulted in something completely alien yet strangely familiar, as if an extraterrestrial culture had accidentally intercepted a transmission of a Busby Berkeley film—and chosen to create their own sequel.

The Joyce Theater Foundation, Inc. Announces Aaron Mattocks New Director Of Programming

Linda Shelton, Executive Director of The Joyce Theater Foundation, Inc., announced today that Aaron Mattocks will take over as Director of Programming, effective February 1, 2018. Mattocks replaces Martin Wechsler, who stepped down at the end of 2017 after 32 years at The Joyce, 22 of those as Director of Programming, helping to transform the organization into the world's leading presenter of dance.

Jody Sperling Nominated for a World Choreography Award

Jody Sperling has been selected as one of the nominees for a World Choreography Award in the Motion Picture Category for The Dancer. At the ceremony, she will also perform an as-yet-unseen solo that was originally choreographed for the film, but was never recorded.
