Back to the Backlot, a live musical comedy variety show, will bring back many of West Hollywood's famed Backlot Theatre's original showcase stars to commemorate the end of an era of one of the country's most famous venues for live entertainment. The event will mark the beginning of the preservation project known as Robertson Lane, which will re-build the venue formally known as The Factory and the famous Studio One Nightclub. The historic building opened in 1929 as the home of Mitchell Cameras, an early and important movie camera maker for the large movie studios. It was then the Studio One nightclub/Backlot Theatre from the late 1970s through the 1990s.

Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club at The LINQ Promenade is bringing a new brand of comedy to The Strip with Vicki Barbolak's Trailer Park Tuesdays, beginning Sept. 24. With shows every Tuesday night beginning at 8 p.m., Vicki Barbolak's Trailer Park Tuesdays will have audiences belly laughing along with her boisterous delivery and down-to-earth personality.

“The Conners” (working title), a spinoff of the groundbreaking family comedy “Roseanne,” has been greenlit to series with an order of 10 episodes for fall 2018. After a sudden turn of events, the Conners are forced to face the daily struggles of life in Lanford in a way they never have before. This iconic family – Dan, Jackie, Darlene, Becky and D.J. – grapples with parenthood, dating, an unexpected pregnancy, financial pressures, aging and in-laws in working-class America. Through it all, the fights, the coupon cutting, the hand-me-downs, the breakdowns – with love, humor and perseverance, the family prevails.

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that things may be underway for a potential Roseanne spinoff after the negotiations have moved to a new phase.

ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey called Barr's late-night Twitter tirade about Soros & Jarrett 'abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values.'
