The Majestic Theater, Gettysburg will rock on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. with the Red Hot Chilli PIPERS - (NOT the Peppers!) -- a 9-piece ensemble consisting of pipers, guitarists, keyboards, and drummers -- who have been rocking the world from New York to Beijing to Melbourne and everywhere in between with musicianship of the highest order and a passion for pipes that will leave you breathless.  'A Red Hot Chilli Pipers concert is akin to a traditional Scottish Hogmanay, or New Year's Eve Celebration,' observed Jeffrey Gabel, The Majestic's Founding Executive Director. 'So don your kilts and let's party!'

What a deliciously exciting and provocative evening in the theatre! The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, adapted by Simon Stephens from Mark Haddon's novel, comes to vivid life as a play within a play with a fascinating array of visual effects, a dynamite ensemble and a remarkable performance by Adam Langdon under the skilled direction of Marianne Elliott. It graces the Ahmanson stage through September 10 only.

Casting is set for the Los Angeles engagement of the National Theatre production of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" presented at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre. Twenty-three performers who have performed with organisations and venues including the National Theatre and Royal Court in London, the English National Opera, National Theatre of Scotland, Citizens Theatre and Edinburgh's Royal Lyceum Theatre and Traverse Theatre will be taking to the stage to perform the supporting role during the month-long Festival Fringe run of Scribble, winner of the Assembly Roxy Theatre award, opposite Alan MacKenzie in the lead role of Ross.

The power of theater to transport and to transform is felt most acutely - experienced most vividly - in Simon Stephens' play Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, based upon the novel of the same name by Mark Haddon, now onstage at Tennessee Performing Arts Center's Andrew Jackson Hall through Sunday. The ingenious stage adaptation of Mark Haddon's popular mystery novel THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHTTIME invites the audience into the challenging world of 15-year-old Christopher Boone (Adam Langdon on opening night) whose exceptional brain is trapped inside an emotionally stunted body. Through the heightened use of sights, sounds, and technically stylized staging, this Tony Award-winning play creates a world of frightening sensory overload that enables the viewer to empathize viscerally with a boy who can't empathize with others.

???????Edinburgh International Festival today unveiled its 2017 programme which marks the event's 70th anniversary. This year's International Festival runs from Friday 4 to Monday 28 August, welcoming 2,020 artists from 40 nations to perform in Scotland's capital city.

The Onomatopoeia Theatre Company, a resident company of Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street), will present a faithful production of John Steinbeck's 'Of Mice and Men' off-off Broadway from April 7 to 29.

Friends in Song, a 12-member a cappella vocal ensemble, presents a touring concert series this spring with performances in Barnstable, Duxbury and Scituate.  The ensemble is directed by William B. Richter.

The Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) has announced casting for the Providence engagement of the National Theatre production of THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME, the Tony Award-winning new play by Simon Stephens, adapted from Mark Haddon's best-selling novel.

The McKittrick Hotel and The National Theatre of Scotland announced today that their critically acclaimed production of The Strange Undoing of Prudencia Hart, a transporting, music-filled folk theater fable, created by writer David Greig and director Wils Wilson, has been extended once again by popular demand. Originally scheduled to close January 29, 2017, the production will now run through Sunday, March 26th at The McKittrick Hotel (542 West 27th Street).

On Friday, January 20 the curtain rises on Tacoma Little Theatre's latest production, John Steinbeck's Of Mice and Men.  That same day the pixels click to life for the newest partnership between Tacoma Little Theatre and Seanchai Library with the opening of Explore: The World of John Steinbeck.

Acclaimed Scottish singer, songwriter Eddi Reader will play in Queensland Performing Arts Centre's (QPAC's) Concert Hallfor one night only on Thursday 16 March 2017.
