The full cast has been announced for the first national tour of the Tony Award-winning Best Musical Revival of Hello, Dolly!, starring Broadway legend, Tony Award winner Betty Buckley.

The Washington Pavilion was filled with razzle and dazzle Tuesday night as CHICAGO made its latest tour stop in Sioux Falls as part of its 20th anniversary tour.

'Murder, greed, corruption, violence, exploitation, adultery, treachery...' Where else can you find such debauchery wildly entertaining and darkly alluring? Winner of six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards, a Grammy, and the longest running show on Broadway, there's no wonder why former NFL superstar and Heisman Trophy winner, Eddie George, teams up with CHICAGO as he debuts in his hometown and kills it in his role as the smooth-talking lawyer, Billy Flynn.

The Gateway Playhouse closes out an amazing and busy Summer season with a superb production of the musical Little Shop Of Horrors. This incarnation runs at the Bellport venue through September 9th boasting an outstanding Broadway caliber cast. Based on the classic 1960 film, book writer Howard Ashman pens - and writes the lyrics for - the theatre staple's heartfelt story. And Alan Menken's music is a fun fusion of 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop and Motown. You'll more than likely be familiar with the score's popular tunes including the title song and 'Suddenly, Seymour'.

This upcoming Monday, June 27th, an exciting concert will be held at 54 Below...an 'unprecedented evening' that will bring original LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS performers together, spanning from the original production to the more-recent Broadway revival. Three of the performers: Jennifer Leigh Warren (Original 'Crystal'), Nikki Rene (Off-Bway 'Chiffon'), and Sheila Kay Davis (Original 'Ronnette') spoke with BroadwayWorld about their experiences, their favorite memories from the production, and what they are most looking forward to for Monday night's concert.

He went to URBO (a fantastic restaurant, bar and venue, in the heart of Times Square) and Manager, Benjamin Ickies, who is also a musician, and BOOM ... the night was born.

Leading the pack of an all-American cast of Broadway veterans is Bianca Marroquin who rocked Solaire Resort and Casino's The Theatre with her multi-faceted portrayal of accused murderess Roxie Hart. The strong ensemble, while writhing, gyrating, and exploding to John Kander's music, provided the backdrop to Fred Ebb and Bob Fosse's dark satirical commentary of the 1920s Prohibition-era Chicago. When the audience rose to a standing ovation at the end of the show, it was palpable that even in these modern days, it is impossible to convict good looking murderesses.

A day after CHICAGO the Musical's 1920s-themed opening night gala at The Theatre at Solaire Resort and Casino, members of the Philippine press were treated to a sneak peek at two of the most popular musical numbers from the musical, and were given a chance to chat with the principal members of the cast and creative team in a press call that followed shortly after.

'For CHICAGO, I'll be playing three instruments: ukulele, mandolin, and banjo. In fact, I got the new banjo today. The first banjo they (Concertus and Lunchbox Theatrical Productions) bought especially for me to use for CHICAGO--the one I also used for the audition video--was defective and had to be replaced, and I got the replacement today. You could feel the excitement rising as the crowd began to enter the theatre; the pull of liquor and jazz tugging them towards their seats as the opening night of Chicago at San Francisco's SHN was about to begin. Filled with songs that have become Broadway classics, such as 'All That Jazz', 'Razzle Dazzle', 'Cell Block Tango,' and really the list goes on, the revival is the winner of six 1997 Tony Awards, outperforming the 1976 original which received ten nominations but no wins. Celebrity murderesses, jazz, greed, lime light, and amazingly inspired Fosse style dancing - what could be better than a night of Chicago, playing now through November 16 at SHNSF's Orpheum Theatre.
