LA's favorite vintage musical comedy trio, The Apple Sisters, present their hit show “Holidoozy Merry Christ-mess Special” for one night only - a throwback to the days of Big Bands, Slapstick, and Modest Product Endorsement (sponsored by Buddy's Bargain Blowout) with a modern twist. It has been announced that musical theatre star and television presenter Brenda Edwards (Chicago, We Will Rock You, The X Factor, Loose Women and Songs of Praise) will star as Motormouth Maybelle in the UK and Ireland tour of Hairspray. Comedy legend Norman Pace (ITV's The Hale and Pace Show) will play Wilbur Turnblad alongside West End leading man Alex Bourne (Annie, Mamma Mia!, We Will Rock You) as Edna Turnblad.

First off, let me say that I am so glad there is actually theatre to review. I also want say how cool this venue is. The Lights in West Fargo (3100 Sheyenne) is an amazing outdoor venue for a show. Do yourself a favor and go check this place out, hopefully to see one of the last few showings of Hairspray.

Hairspray is hitting the road again in 2020-21! It can now be confirmed that the tour will open at Leicester Curve on 20 August and will visit the following venues in 2020: Manchester Palace, Bradford Alhambra, Blackpool Winter Gardens, Aylesbury Waterside, Birmingham Hippodrome, Glasgow Kings Theatre, Northampton Royal and Derngate, Woking New Victoria, Liverpool Empire and Brighton Theatre Royal.
