Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Artistic Director Glenn Edgerton are pleased to announce the main company's 2014-15 season performances in Chicago, to include two weeks spotlighting a diverse trio of Princess Grace Award-winning choreographers, Hubbard Street's first performances of choreography by acclaimed artist Crystal Pite, and a celebration of Resident Choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo.

While the physical staging and door play were spot on, it was the interpretation of the genius comedic dialogue that kept getting lost in the shuffle.

The United Palace Theatre and UPCA (United Palace of Cultural Arts) will feature a 30th Anniversary screening of Ivan Reitman's classic comedy GHOSTBUSTERS, as part of it's new 'Sunday Movies at the Palace' screening series, curated and hosted by Tony and Grammy Award-winning performer/writer Lin-Manuel Miranda (In the Heights) on March 23rd. Stage show begins at 5:00 followed by the screening at 5:30.

Multi-award winning Foothill Music Theatre presents the rock musical comedy LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS with music by Alan Menken and book and lyrics by Howard Ashman, in which a down-and out skid row floral assistant becomes an overnight sensation when he discovers an exotic plant with a mysterious craving. LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, directed by Milissa Carey, with musical direction by Dolores Duran-Cefalu, and choreography by Amanda Folena, plays February 20 - March 9 in the Lohman Theatre, Foothill College, 12345 El Monte Rd., Los Altos Hills. LITTLE SHOPS OF HORRORS tells the story about a down on his luck shopkeeper and his singing plant. This production of the show reunites NEXT TO NORMAL leads, Mark Willet and Kylie McMahon, who respectively play Seymour and Audrey.

Secondline Productions is producing a Halloween double bill featuring 30-minute musical parodies of two 80's film classics, TEEN WITCH and GHOSTBUSTER, Sundays through October 27 at Atwater Village Theatre. It's a fun series of shows directed and adapted by Brooke Seguin and featuring music by Seguin and Dan Wessels.

On October 25, at 8pm, the Brooklyn Academy of Music is presenting a sing-along screening of The Little Shop of Horrors. Rick Moranis, who brought the role of Seymour Krelborn to life in the film, will make a special appearance at the screening.

Mikhail Baryshnikov serves as the Honorary Chairman for Uptown Downtown, a special one-night-only extravaganza to benefit the Abrons Arts Center on October 14. Bringing together the brightest lights of New York City's uptown and downtown performance scenes, the evening will feature Kyle Abraham, Joey Arias, Jack Ferver + James Whiteside, Ellen Greene, Robert La Fosse, Bebe Neuwirth, Philippe Petit, and other special guests. Moritz, Jr. brought together a melange of Broadway's most impressive young talent for WHEN I GROW UP: BROADWAY'S NEXT GENERATION, a cabaret concert at 54 BELOW. Kenny Howard says that this group inspired him 'not only with their talents but also with a maturity that is far beyond their years.' For this cabaret concert, the children tackle the adult repertoire of their heroes, taking on music from SPRING AWAKENING, THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, THE LAST FIVE YEARS, AVENUE Q, [TITLE OF SHOW], and more.

The Round Barn Theatre has announced its next year's season three months earlier than ever before.
