Beautiful music was made on Monday, December 6, when hostess/producer Jamie deRoy brought her multi-MAC Award-winning Variety Show, Jamie deRoy & friends, back to Birdland.

Last night an audience of friends gathered in Birdland to enjoy an evening with everyones favorite friend… Jamie deRoy.  Jamie presented a group of her Broadway celebrity friends to schmooze and perform at what always turns out to be an exciting evening of world class entertainment. 

Eighteen months later, Jamie deRoy returns to the live venue stage with some marvelous mates and her signature tune.

Countess Luann has shared her new Christmas single, 'What Do I Want For Christmas?', featuring the Real Housewives of New York, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer, Leah McSweeney, and Eboni K. Williams. On Monday, December 13, at 8:00pm ET, Emmy and Tony Award–winning actress and singer Kristin Chenoweth will ring in the holiday season at the Metropolitan Opera with a one-night-only concert, Kristin Chenoweth: Christmas at the Met.

Next month, FEINSTEIN’S/54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club & Private Event Destination, will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond.

From sixteen-year-old Broadway hopeful Amelia Wells to nonagenarian phenom Marilyn Maye, the October 25 Cast Party participants entertained the packed house at Birdland with standards, show tunes, original material, and a lot of panache!  

The hit live show has been devised by Well-Strung, Mark Cortale and director Richard Jay-Alexander, and features the group’s own unique pop-classical spin on some of the most beautiful and traditional holiday favorites, such as  'Silent Night', 'Sleigh Ride,' all the way to Dolly Parton’s “Hard Candy Christmas” and everything in between.

The Phantom of the Opera is officially back and Broadway is Broadway again! As a part of the celebration, composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and producer Cameron Mackintosh took the stage for a special speech, and afterwards Webber took to the streets for a special DJ set in front of The Majestic. BroadwayWorld was there for the big night!
