Nicolas & Charles Talar and Adam Blanshay Productions have announced today that Notre Dame de Paris, the international musical and dance sensation, will extend by popular demand, with a second week of performances added to their highly anticipated engagement at the David H. Koch Theater this summer.

The production, performed in French with English supertitles and featuring a dazzling international 30-member cast and a live orchestra, will play for seven performances only from this July at the David H. Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center. Get the scoop here. 

Given the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, upcoming performances of Notre Dame de Paris at the David H. Koch Theater have been postpone to July 13th -17th 2022.

The smash hit spectacular, Notre Dame de Paris will make its New York Premiere next September, after receiving international acclaim in 23 countries worldwide, having been translated into 9 different languages and selling over 13 million tickets. Based upon the world famous 1831 novel Notre-Dame de Paris by Victor Hugo, the show will feature an international ensemble of singers, dancers and acrobats to tell the tale of the hunchbacked cathedral bell-ringer, Quasimodo, and his unwavering devotion to the beautiful gypsy, Esmeralda.

Twenty years after its Parisian debut, and after receiving international acclaim in 23 countries worldwide, the French musical Notre-Dame de Paris is set to be performed at London Coliseum.

Notre Dame De Paris runs at the London Coliseum until Sunday, which marks the 5,000th performance of the show that made its debut in the French capital 20 years ago.

It is difficult to overestimate how popular Notre Dame de Paris is in France, leaving audiences in raptures for twenty years. However, the critics were not kind when it was last performed in London back in 2000. Poor translation of the lyrics and a prerecorded backing track seemed to be the main issues. Despite this, the show has been performed all over the world and this new run at the Coliseum will mark its 20th anniversary, this time with a new translation and a live string section.Unfortunately, this is not enough to save a show that often feels dated and self-absorbed.
