Silent Screen Star Hits the Road in SUNSET BOULEVARD; UK Tour Dates Announced!

Michael Harrison and David Ian will present the UK and Ireland tour of the Curve production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's award-winning musical SUNSET BOULEVARD. Starring Ria Jones as Norma Desmond and directed by Nikolai Foster, SUNSET BOULEVARD will open at Curve on Saturday 16 September 2017 (press night Thursday 28 September), before touring the UK and Ireland. Following Curve's most successful Christmas season on record, with Grease and The Twits entertaining over 65,000 people to date, we are delighted to announce two new Made at Curve productions for Autumn & Winter 2017 : Andrew Lloyd Webber, Don Black & Christopher Hampton's Sunset Boulevard 16 - 30 September 2017 and Leslie Bricusse's family musical Scrooge 18 November 2017 - 7 January 2018.

JOANNA STRAND AND FRIENDS will perform at The Hippodrome Casino in the heart of London's West End on Thursday 14 July at 11.00pm, in a fundraising cabaret supporting the work of The Make A Difference Trust (MAD Trust). Joanna will be joined by headline guests Gary Williams and Jacqui Tate, alongside an exciting line-up of West End performers.

Last year Fran Drescher's Cocktail Cruise around Manhattan kicked off NYC Gay Pride Week and sold out with a huge crowd of celebrities including Patti LuPone, Jill Zarin, Patti Stanger, Thomas Roberts and Aviva Drescher and raised a great deal of dollars for her Cancer Schmancer Movement.

Rehearsals began just last month for Andrew Lloyd Webber's Sunset Boulevard at the English National Opera. Since then, star Glenn Close stopped by Graham Norton to chat about the production and revealed her hopes that it will lead into something more. She said, 'I'm hoping very much that this will lead directly to making a movie... this like a revving up. It's a very elaborate rehearsal.'
