On Monday, May 11, the Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present Apollo Link, Broadway's premier vocal trio. After half-a-million YouTube hits, the trio brought original arrangements, impeccable harmonies and powerful vocals to the historic music room.  The trio performed fan favorites like "Chandelier," "Latch', 'Shake It Off," 'At Last," "Jealous," and many more. 'Too Legit to Quit 4: Gender Bender Edition, a concert devoted to classic Broadway singing, is held May 31st at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in New York City.

In a slew of recent event cancellations, the next installment of the BROADWAY SINGS concert series is relocating due to a recent reception hosted by the venue's owners for Republican Presidential candidate and vocal anti-gay politician Ted Cruz. Last week, it was revealed that Ian Reisner and Mati Weiderpass, owners of The OUT Hotel, had hosted Senator Cruz at their Manhattan penthouse for a "dinner and 'fireside chat,'" as reported by the New York Times. Broadway Sings Bruno Mars, originally scheduled to take place at 8:30 PM on May 17th at 42West in The OUT Hotel, will now take place at The Cutting Room, at the same time and date.

Producers Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig welcome back Tony Award-winner Billy Porter to Kinky Boots tonight, April 28. Porter will step back into the heels of 'Lola' after a three month hiatus. Kyle Taylor Parker, who took over the role in Porter's absence, will head back on the road to continue strutting his stuff as Lola in the First National Touring Production of Kinky Boots.

Porter will step back into the heels of 'Lola' after a three month hiatus. Performers include Nick Rashad Burroughs (Kinky Boots), Steel Burkhardt (Aladdin, Hair), Alison Case (Hands on a Hardbody, Hair), Corey Mach (Hands on a Hardbody, Godspell), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia), Keala Settle (Les Miserables, Hands on a Hardbody), and Joey Toranto (Kinky Boots, Rock of Ages). Additional performers will be announced at a later date.

Musicals Tonight! continues its ongoing salute to Broadway and Off-Broadway Standbys, Understudies and Alternates with its next edition of At This Performance… to be held on Monday, March 9th at The Lion Theatre, 410 West 42ndStreet at 7 PM.

Porter will return toKinky Boots on April 28, 2015, and has extended his contract through January 2016.
