Ford's Theatre Society is presenting the world-premiere musical Grace, with Music and Lyrics by Nolan Williams, Jr.; Book by Nolan Williams, Jr., and Nikkole Salter; and Directed and Choreographed by Robert Barry Fleming.

Eden Espinosa, Joshua Henry, and Megan Hilty will raise the roof with a program specifically curated by The Soraya which include songs from the late Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George and Company, plus numbers from Wicked, Hamilton, Carousel, and more.

Packed with an eclectic mix of styles including Jazz, R&B, rousing up-tempos and raise-the-roof ballads, Grace is a new musical examining the little-told history of African-American culinary tradition and the challenges faced by Black-owned businesses.

Beck Center for the Arts has completed the second phase of its renovation project, made possible by over $5.3M raised from the community toward a $6.7M Capital Campaign goal. Playwright Nikkole Salter has joined the creative team of the upcoming production of Grace at the Ford's Theatre in Washington, DC. Salter is now listed as one of the book writers, alongside the musical's creator, Nolan Williams, Jr.
