Planet Connections Presents 2018 Playwrights For A Cause: MY SEXUALITY IS...

'Each season, Playwrights For A Cause continues to raise awareness on topics of social justice while providing an opportunity for theater artists to share their creations. I couldn't be more excited about this seasons line-up of brilliant playwrights,' says Glory Kadigan, founder and curator of the annual Playwrights for a Cause benefit, hosted by Planet Connections Theatre Festivity. 'I'd also like to thank the Associate Artistic Director of the Theater at the 14th Street Y, David Stallings, for providing a home for our event.'

Bad Quarto Productions, a theatre company specializing in performing modern theatre using Shakespearean staging techniques, opens it's current production of Love's Labour's Lost: The First Quarto at 353 W. 48th St. in New York City on August 19th. The production runs through August 27th.

This year, the event will be Sunday, July 23, and will benefit the New York Civil Liberties Union with 'The Protest Plays,' stories of standing up to injustice written by celebrated authors, CATHERINE FILLOUX, LYLE KESSLER, JOSE RIVERA, and REGINA TAYLOR.
