West End and Broadway star Elaine Paige today launches the 24-Hour Song Challenge by challenging The Showstoppers to compose her a musical theatre song in just 24 hours.

The show must go on! Although UK theatres have closed their doors for the time being, The Showstoppers decided to still perform their Olivier Award-winning improv for audiences via Facebook livestream. Watch the video here!

The Showstoppers (Best Entertainment and Family Show Olivier Award winners 2016) will be returning to London's West End this November and December, to make all your kids' Christmas story wishes come true! The Showstoppers' Christmas Kids Show! can be found in The Paradiso Speigeltent as part of 'Christmas in Leicester Square' from 23rd November - 1st December 2019.

Alas, it seems doubtful that last night's Cream of Yorkshire will ever be further refined. Yet, the performers' wits and synchronicity are such that the result is quite incredibly refined - considering the whole show is spontaneously made up, based on prompts from the audience.
