The complete cast for the Broadway revival of Meredith Willson’s The Music Man has been announced. Starring Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster, preview performances of The Music Man are set to begin on Monday, December 20, 2021, with Opening Night scheduled for Thursday, February 10, 2022 at the Winter Garden Theatre.

CHICKEN & BISCUITS, the new comedy written by Douglas Lyons and directed by Zhailon Levingston, made its Broadway debut just last night, October 10, at the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street.) The limited engagement runs through Sunday, January 2, 2022.

The 2021 John Willis Award for Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre is the latest accolade for Tony, Grammy and Emmy winning Hadestown star André De Shields, fresh from his critically-acclaimed turn as King Lear at St. Louis Shakespeare Festival.

Broadway Records announced today the release of the Grammy Award-nominated 2018 recording of ONCE ON THIS ISLAND as a double record set printed on orange vinyl. This vinyl set includes a special album insert with photos from the Broadway production and full billing, plus a gatefold cover, complete with show artwork, track list and more.

Today we rewind to 2017, when Once On This Island was getting ready to return to Broadway. Once On This Island opened on December 3 at the Circle in the Square Theatre, where it played for 457 performances.

Claybourne Elder and the rest of the cast of COMPANY were all set to open the third revival production of the show on Broadway when COVID-19 hit and closed down NYC life as we knew it. Claybourne was set to appear in COMPANY, his fourth Broadway show, as the flight attendant, Andy, who you might know better as April in the original version.

You may know T. Oliver Reid as an in demand Broadway performer, TV actor, MAC Winning Cabaret singer, a MetroStar Challenge winner and a Professor at NYU.  He is an artist that wears his heart on his sleeve in all that he does on stage or screen.

Once On This Island, playing at the Ordway Theatre through February 9th, is an exhilarating musical fable that seeks to transport the audience into the world of Haitian folklore through a story of love, resilience and sacrifice.

With David Alan Grier making his official return to Broadway tonight as Sergeant Vernon C. Waters in Roundabout Theatre Company's A Soldier's Play, we're looking back at his Tony-nominated turn as Sportin' Life in 2012's Tony-nominated production of The Gershwin's Porgy and Bess on the show's opening night. Later today, Broadway welcomes a brand new musical, JAGGED LITTLE PILL- an exhilarating new musical inspired by the themes and raw emotions laid bare in Alanis Morissette's seminal album of the same name. The show marks the return of Tony Award-winning director Diane Paulus, who brings it straight from its record-breaking, sold-out world premiere at American Repertory Theater last summer, where she has served as Artistic Director since 2008.
