LA MIRADA THEATRE presents the West Coast premiere of the brand new musical 'MYSTIC PIZZA' directed by CASEY HUSHION.

On December 4th, the Dramatists Guild and InterAct Theatre Company are partnering with The 24 Hour Plays for this year's production of The 24 Hour Plays: Philadelphia, featuring artists from across our city's vibrant performing arts community.

George Street Playhouse presents Having Our Say, the Tony Award-nominated play by Emily Mann (A Streetcar Named Desire, Anna and the Tropics). Having Our Say is adapted from the book by Sarah (Sadie) L. Delany & A. Elizabeth (Bessie) Delany with Amy Hill Hearth and is directed by Laiona Michelle (Her Portmanteau).

As we prepare for the parade (and we’ve got your guide on the Broadway performances below), we also get some good news out of the UK where Panto producers report that ticket sales are trending strongly in the right direction for the holiday tradition.

Emily Zeck has joined Theatre Aspen as Managing Director. Emily returns to Theatre Aspen after stints at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts, New York Stage and Film, and Philadelphia Theatre Company.  

Mitski, Eboni Booth, and Whitney White have been announced as the newest additions to the creative team of the Broadway production, THE QUEEN'S GAMBIT. Learn more about these talented individuals and how they will contribute to the success of the show.

Tony Award-nominee Beth Malone (FUN HOME, ANGELS IN AMERICA) and Adam Chanler-Berat (PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, AMELIE) will host the annual fundraising gala “Songs of our Summer from Rhinebeck to Chelsea” at Chelsea Table & Stage on November 27 at 6:30pm.

They aren’t actually that in Whitney White’s concert cum critique “Macbeth in Stride” at the Shakespeare Theatre Company. But they do backup singing, some choreographed dance moves (by Raja Feather Kelly), reply and advise the lead and never quite leave the stage, itself dressed up like a spangly nightclub revue (set by Daniel Soule, lighting by Jeanette Oi-Suk Yew). In all, it seems perfect for that girl group from Detroit.
