Horse Trade Theater Group in association with Moonlight Theatre Productions (Kelley Girod, producer) will present Get Me a Guy (Best Play at the New York International Midtown Theater Festival as a 30-minute one-act; scene 16 won Outstanding Play Honorary Mention at the New York Short Play Festival as a 10-minute play), an award-winning new comedy by Israela Margalit (Gold Medal NY Film and TV Festival, Emmy Nomination) directed by John Clancy (2005 Obie Award for Sustained Excellence of Direction).

The Banff World Media Festival (BANFF) today announced that Nathan Lane will be presented with the prestigious Sir Peter Ustinov Comedy Award at the 35th annual Festival, being held June 8-11, 2014. The Award recognizes a creative talent that has made an outstanding comedic contribution to the media industry. Past honorees include Ricky Gervais, Tracey Ullman, Chuck Lorre, Martin Short, and 2013 recipient Craig Ferguson.

Music Director James Conlon, whose lifelong fascination with Britten is reflected in his personal three-year performance cycle of the composer's works in America and Europe, is the inspiration for LA Opera's Britten 100/LA: A Celebration, an extensive collaboration featuring performances, conferences and exhibitions presented by a host of organizations throughout the Southland.

As Robert Powell (Jesus of Nazareth, The Detectives) opens a UK wide tour of the official Agatha Christie Theatre Company's 9th production, Black Coffee in Windsor photographed Robert as Poirot alongside co-stars Liza Goddard (as Miss Caroline Amory) and Robin McCallum as Poirot's friend and confidante (Captain Arthur Hastings, OBE). The cast appeared in full costume both outside - underneath the building's iconic blue plaque - and upstairs in the quaint writing room she had specially commissioned as part of the house's refurbishment. Pianist David Scheel Plays Kalk Bay Theatre Tonight

David Scheel is a true Australian success story. Born at Stirling in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia he studied at the University of Adelaide, gaining an Honours degree in languages and a concert diploma on the piano. However, coming from a theatrical family theatre was David's first love, and after a short stint on stage, in films and on television he decided - like so many before him - to try his luck in England. The gamble was so successful that it was to keep David away from Australian shores for the best part of 18 years.
