Producers Betty Ann Besch Solinger and Alice Chebba Walsh will present a private stage reading of the new musical SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL on June 12 and June 13, 2014 in New York. Based on the Jane Austen novel of the same name, SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL had a critically acclaimed world premiere in 2013 at the Denver Center Theatre Company. SENSE & SENSIBILITY THE MUSICAL features a book and lyrics by Jeffrey Haddow, music by Neal Hampton and direction, and musical staging by Tony Award nominee Marcia Milgrom Dodge (Ragtime).

O'Toole's daughter, Kate, confirmed the news earlier today in a statement. She confirmed that her father had been ill 'for some time,' per the report.

Choreography is by Emmy Award nominee Sonya Tayeh ('So You Think You Can Dance'), and orchestrations, music direction and arrangements are by Kris Kukul. The Last Goodbye will run on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, Sept. 20 - Nov. 3, 2013. Preview performances run Sept. 20 - Oct. 5. Opening night is Sunday, Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are currently available by subscription only. Single tickets go on sale Sunday, Aug. 18 at 12 noon. The partnership will commence at the annual Tony Eve Cocktail Party which will take place on Saturday, June 8th, hosted by the Paramount Hotel's food and beverage partner, LDV Hospitality, at their Midtown restaurant, Lugo Caffe (One Penn Plaza). At the event, the Tony Awards will present the Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre to: Career Transition for Dancers; William Craver; Peter Lawrence, The Lost Colony and the actresses who share the role of "Matilda" in Matilda the Musical: Sophia Gennusa, Oona Laurence, Baily Ryan and Milly Shapiro. They will also present the Huntington Theatre Company with the Regional Theatre Award. The Tony Awards Administration Committee has announced this year's recipients of 2013 Tony Honors for Excellence in the Theatre. This year's receipients will be longtime agents William Craver and Peter Lawrence, the non-profit Career Transition for Dancers and North Carolina's long-running drama THE LOST COLONY.

Only a week after Hurricane Sandy hit and two days after the power was restored in Englewood, NJ, The Elisabeth Morrow School hosted their annual book fair in The Peter Lawrence Gymkhana on campus. The annual book fair raises money for the school, through raffles and book sales, and includes author panels and readings for the entire family. Although event organizers worried about whether the book fair would be able to open in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, the event went on without a hitch. Scroll below for photos from the event.

The 17th year of The Elisabeth Morrow School Summer String Festival will be held from August 13-17, 2012 at The Elisabeth Morrow School in Englewood, NJ for children ages four to thirteen. For five days in August, over 200 young violinists, violists, cellists, harpists and bassists will rehearse and perform Bach, Holst, Handel, and Vivaldi in an intensive music training program.

Jana Robbins and Craig Haffner will present industry-only staged readings presentations of The Jazz Age, a new play by Allan Knee (FINDING NEVERLAND, LITTLE WOMEN).
