Gulfshore Playhouse is gearing up for their 5th season with an eclectic mix of productions. For the 2010-2011 Season, the professional company will stage four mainstage selections running from October through April. WICKED veterans Marcie Dodd and Alli Mauzey will be San Francisco's new witches in the hit musical beginning June 29, 2010. This will be a reunion for Dodd and Mauzey in their roles as Elphaba and Glinda respectively, and will mark the first time the two actresses are back on stage opposite each other since they played the roles on Broadway from November 2008 - February 2009. The actresses will take a final bow with WICKED when it closes on September 5, 2010.

Totem Pole Artistic Director, Ray Ficca, last appeared on stage at the Playhouse as sportswriter, Mitch Albom, in Tuesdays With Morrie, a touching and poignant story about a career-driven young man who reconnects with a former college professor suffering with ALS.

Opening the mainstage season is 'Tuesdays With Morrie' by Jeffrey Hatcher and Mitch Albom, based on the book by Mitch Albom, playing October 29th - November 21st, 2010, with a preview performance on October 28th. This theatrical incarnation of the beloved bestseller is the heartwarming autobiographical story of Mitch Albom, an accomplished journalist driven solely by his career, and Morrie Schwartz, his former college professor. Sixteen years after graduation, Mitch happens to catch Morrie's appearance on a television news program and learns that his old professor is battling Lou Gehrig's Disease. Mitch is reunited with Morrie, and what starts as a simple visit turns into a weekly pilgrimage and a last class in the meaning of life. Wayne LeGette, who played Cleante in their production of 'Tartuffe' will star as Mitch.
