Mint Theater's next production will be Donogoo by Jules Romains featuring Ross Bickell, Mitch Greenberg, George Morfogen, Jay Patterson, Paul Pontrelli, Dave Quay, Douglas Rees, James Riordan, Megan Robinson, Kraig Swartz, Scott Thomas, Brian Thomas Vaughan, and Vladimir Versailles as the sixty-six characters that populate this dark and madly ambitious comedy.

Performances begin tonight for Roundabout Theatre Company's third annual Roundabout Underground Reading Series. The actors involved in the series include: Pico Alexander, Fred Applegate, De'Adre Aziza, David Aaron Baker, Cassie Beck, Michael Chernus, Diane Davis, Dashiell Eaves, Ryan Eggold, Lisa Emery, Sue Jean Kim, Chad Kimball, Jessica Love, Lizbeth Mackay, Annie McNamara, Alex Mickiewicz, Aaron Clifton Moten, Olivia Oguma, Tonya Pinkins, Paul Pontrelli, Conrad Ricamora, Reg Rogers, Debra Jo Rupp, Campbell Scott and Max von Essen.

As part of the ninth edition of the COIL festival, Performance Space 122, New York City Players (NYCP) and American Realness present an encore engagement of Tina Satter's House of Dance as part of NYCP's American Playwrights Division in association with Half Straddle and Abrons Arts Center. Following a sold-out, critically acclaimed run this fall, which Ben Brantley in The New York Times called, 'enchanting,' and, 'so very refreshing,' House of Dance returns to Abrons Arts Center for four performances only.

New York City Players' world premiere production of Tina Satter's House of Dance, presented in association with Half Straddle and Abrons Arts Center, will run October 23 - November 9 at the Abrons. House of Dance is the third production in New York City Players' American Playwrights Division, a program curated byRichard Maxwell and devoted to producing full productions by emerging writers who direct their own work. The cast of the world premiere will include Jess Barbagallo, Jim Fletcher, Elizabeth DeMent and Paul Pontrelli.

New composer Trevor Bachman made his Joe's Pub debut on Monday, August 12 in Songs of a Brave Soldier- a musical chronicle of truth. Wielding music as a storytelling force, this evening of rock, soul, and classical styles is a sampling of two original musicals (Pyre Cantata and Coromandel), as well as brand new songs. Bachman is an indie music theatre composer/lyricist with an eclectic sound, fusing tight harmonies, soulful grooves and addictive melodies, creating an emotional theatrical experience. Featuring original avant-folk songs performed by a seven-piece band and a choir, documentary footage Hopkins shot on an Arctic expedition with Cape Farewell, and the artist inhabiting three fictional characters on-stage, This Clement World offers a poetic but urgent perspective on global climate change.

Feinstein's at Loews Regency is currently hosting Scott Siegel's BROADWAY HOOTENANNY, which features different stars performing different songs every Thursday night at 11pm. Created, produced and hosted by Scott Siegel, the show features musical direction by Jesse Kissel. Now approaching its third week, casts have included Larry Gatlin, William Michals, Jon Fletcher, Claybourne Elder, Jamie deRoy, Courtney Simmons and Paul Pontrelli. As I wrote five years ago, regarding the first edition of Town Hall's Annual Broadway's Rising Stars concert, the traditional middle evening of their Summer Broadway Festival, this is an event where I have absolutely no intention of writing anything the least bit negative about any of the young performers who were hand-picked by Scott and Barbara Siegel to sing an evening of showtunes.  I have no desire to be the critic who drives some 22-year-old to tears with a bit of constructive criticism, inspiring him or her to angrily vow to the heavens, 'Someday I'll show that Michael Dale!'
