The producers of the new Monday night lineup of readings The Circle Series, which opened its doors on Oklahoma!'s stage August 5, have committed to a mix of new and classic works. Launching the classic end of programming on Monday, August 19 is Philip Barry's The Philadelphia Story, a play made famous by Katharine Hepburn's dynamic Tracy Lord in the 1940 film. Producers have kept castinga?"completed by Eisenberg/Beans Castinga?"under wraps, but director Em Weinstein says this reading's Lord family a?oewill keep you on your toes.a??

Circle in the Square Theatre School (Paul Libin, President, E. Colin O'Leary, Executive Director, and Susan Frankel, Chief Operating Officer of Circle in the Square Theatre), Pigasus Institute (Zachary Spicer, Chairman), and Rachel Shuey, recently announced a new reading series, The Circle Series. Leading into the launch of the first reading next week, they are excited to announce members of the creative teams and a special partnership with citizenM Hotel. Each Monday beginning in August, performers will bring Circle in the Square to life on its traditional dark night with The Circle Series.

The Drama League (Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Executive Artistic Director) today announced the 2019 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award. The nominations were announced this morning by the current stars of Waitress, Shoshana Bean and Jeremy Jordan, at the official announcement event at Sardi's Restaurant, which was streamed live online here at BroadwayWorld.

The Actors Fund held a ribbon-cutting on October 5, 2018 to celebrate the launch of Looking Ahead in New York City, a program which originated in 2003 in Los Angeles and is designed to help young professional performers and their families thrive amid the unique challenges of working in the entertainment industry. The Paul Libin Center serves as the home for the Looking Ahead program in New York City, and is located in Times Square at the main offices of The Actors Fund at 729 Seventh Avenue on the 12th floor.
Bay Street Theater Announces Successful Opening Night For The World Premiere Of FELLOW TRAVELERS

Bay Street Theater and Sag Harbor Center for the Arts is pleased to announce a successful opening night for the World Premiere of FELLOW TRAVELERS, a new play by Jack Canfora, directed by Michael Wilson. The show opened on Saturday, June 2 and was met with rave reviews and a positive audience response. FELLOW TRAVELERS, open now through June 17, 2018, is the first show in Bay Street Theater's 2018 Mainstage Season. Paul Libin Retires as President of BC/EFA

The Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDSBoard of Trustees, at its February 22, 2018, meeting, honored Paul Libin, its president for the last 24 years, with a special $100,000 grant to The Actors Fund to create the Paul Libin Center. The center will be the New York City home for Looking Ahead, a program that helps professional young performers build community and make a healthy, successful transition to adulthood.
