THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHTTIME by CCAE Theatricals is a visually and physically creative endeavor that effectively tells this story and the inner thoughts of the lead character who uniquely perceives the world.

We sat down with director J Scott Lapp as he prepares to direct The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at CCAE Theatricals.

Soho Theatre has announced its joint winners of the 2023 Tony Craze Award – Laith Elzubaidi and Maryam Garad. The highly commended award goes to Cal-I Jonel. This is the first time, since the award's inception, that the top prize has been awarded to two writers.

From a shortlist of plays featuring tales of grief, loss, the Parsi diaspora, metaphorical ghosts, hooliganism, the Black British dating experience, gentrification in London, and queerness, it was a story about virtual reality grief-gaming, All My Friends Are Dead by Somebody Jones, that won Soho Theatre's emerging playwriting prize Tony Craze Award 2022.

The Music Man has extended its Broadway run by popular demand.  Originally announced to close on January 1, the revival of Meredith Willson’s musical, starring two-time Tony Award®, Grammy Award®, and Emmy Award®-winning star Hugh Jackman as Professor Harold Hill and two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as Marian Paroo, will now play its positively final Broadway performance on Sunday, January 15, 2023.

Tony Award nominee Mark Linn-Baker, will join the company of the revival of The Music Man on Broadway as Mayor Shinn, beginning October 25. As previously announced, Tony Award Winner Jefferson Mays will depart the production on October 23, 2022.

The official cast recording of the Broadway revival of Meredith Willson’s The Music Man, starring two-time Tony Award, Grammy Award, and Emmy Award-winning star Hugh Jackman as Professor Harold Hill and two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster as Marian Paroo, will be released this Friday, September 23 at 10 AM ET.

The Music Man will end its Broadway run on January 1, 2023.
