As a character piece, Sancho: An Act of Remembrance is an absolute triumph. The emotional work that Paterson and his co-director Simon Godwin have invested into this piece is exquisite.

Following an international tour, Wilton's Music Hall will host the London premiere of Sancho: An Act Of Remembrance, acclaimed actor Paterson Joseph's one-man play that tells the extraordinary unknown story of Charles Ignatius Sancho, English gentleman, socialite, composer, writer, abolitionist and first Afro-Briton to vote in Britain.

'Heard the one about the black guy born on a slave ship in the early 18th century? He ended his days running a grocery store in Westminster. That was after a career as a famous musician, composer, author and actor. And in 1774 he became the first black Briton to vote. Never heard of him? Neither had I, until I discovered Thomas Gainsborough's portrait of the extraordinary Charles Ignatius Sancho, in 2007, in a book by historian Gretchen Gerzina called Black England. 

From Eric Kripke ('Revolution,' 'Supernatural'), Shawn Ryan ('The Shield') and the producers of 'The Blacklist' comes this thrilling action-adventure series in which a mysterious criminal steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America as we know it by changing the past. Our only hope is an UNEXPECTED team: Rufus (Malcolm Barrett), a scientist; Wyatt (Matt Lanter), a soldier; and Lucy (Abigail Spencer), a history professor, all of who must use the machine's prototype to travel back in time to critical events. While they must make every effort not to affect the past themselves, they must also stay one step ahead of Flynn (Goran Višnji?), a dangerous fugitive. But can this handpicked team uncover the mystery behind it all and end his destruction before it's too late?

Today Wilton's announce their summer 2018 season, a true showcase of its music hall roots with Weimar cabaret performers, sultry chanteuses and time-travelling magicians all treading the historic boards, and true icons like the first Afro-Briton to vote in a UK general election and fame hungry gender-queer music hall stars telling their stories to entertain and inform audiences.

TIMELESS To Return TO NBC 3/11

Looking to create strong family-friendly viewing on Sundays beginning March 11, NBC will air its annual three-hour American Ninja Warrior: USA Vs. the World special at 7 p.m. ET/PT and conclude the night with the highly anticipated second-season premiere of Timeless.
