The best of Broadway will perform for FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with '106.7 LITE FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2017' - a lunchtime series on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by LITE FM's on-air personalities, the 17th annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through Thursday, August 10.

The new spring programming at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts begins with the return of Neil Simon's THE ODD COUPLE. This comedic classic of polar opposite friends-turned-roommates is an illustration of what Soulpepper does best - which is why this encore is on stage again until June 11. Starring Founding Artistic Director of Soulpepper, Albert Schultz as infamous slob Oscar Madison, and fellow Founding Member, Diego Matamoros as the level-headed and neurotic Felix Ungar, THE ODD COUPLE assembles some of Soulpepper's best for a near-flawless night of classic comedy.

Ted Dykstra's Soulpepper production of the David French comedy JITTERS first premiered in 2010, and is now thriving with a new revival currently playing at the Young Centre for the Performing Arts. Featuring many of the same members of Dykstra's original production, JITTERS is a crisp and refreshing comedy that is so tightly knit it's bursting with confidence. Kevin Bundy, Diane D'Aquila, Geordie Johnson and Oliver Dennis lead this ensemble cast who elevate French's material into a near perfect evening.

The latest revival of THE PLAY'S THE THING is another take at the Soulpepper favourite. Based on P.G. Wodehouse's adaptation of the 1926 classic, The Play at the Castle, and directed by Laszlo Marton who also took a stab at this production in both 1999 and 2003, you are sure in for a treat.

Underneath the riotous comedy of Moliere's 1664 play Tartuffe is a tough family drama examining ideas of trust, power, and hypocrisy. Soulpepper Theatre Company's new production (on now through September 20th at the Young Centre) underlines these themes while providing plenty of laughs and a smart, contemporary take on a classic work.

Albert Schultz, Founding Artistic Director of Soulpepper Theatre Company, today announced the 12 plays comprising Soulpepper's 15th anniversary season, including ten new productions, two remounts, and a revisit, to run in repertory from January to December, 2012. The season includes plays from Canada, Ireland, England, the United States and Russia, and brings Soulpepper to 107 original productions over 15 seasons. The first winners of the Toronto Theatre Critics' Awards - decided by John Coulbourn (the Toronto Sun), Richard Ouzounian (the Toronto Star), Robert Cushman (the National Post), and Kelly Nestruck (the Globe and Mail) - were announced today.
