Celebrate the Holidays with The Royals - on an all-new episode of THEATER TALK, featuring interviews with a plucky princess, a mean queen and a smitten prince from The Princess and The Pea-based musical One Upon A Mattress, as well as a trio of woebegone Windsors - Charles, "Wills," and Harry - from Broadway's King Charles III. 

The intimate Broadway house was originally co-owned by Irving Berlin and premiered his MUSIC BOX REVUES.

Based on the smash hit 2003 film of the same title, School of Rock: THE MUSICAL, with music from the movie, as well as an original score by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater, a book byJulian Fellowes and direction by Laurence Connor, made its World Premiere on Broadway last night, December 6, at the Winter Garden Theatre. Mike Bartlett's Olivier-winning futuristic drama envisions the early days of Prince Charles' reign as king.

'[Thank you] to an incredible cast of British and American actors who make the Atlantic look like a little creek you can just kind of pop across,' said Dame Helen Mirren upon receiving her 2015 Tony Award. The stage and screen star reprised her critically-acclaimed performance in THE AUDIENCE after a West End run in 2013, and she was just one of many to 'pop across' an ocean for a stab at Broadway.  An unprecedented amount of British talent took over Broadway last year, bringing us such productions as THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME, WOLF HALL: PARTS 1 & 2, and SKYLIGHT.   It doesn't seem like the trend is ending anytime soon.
