Artistic Director Ryan Rilette and Managing Director Ed Zakreski have announced the full six-show lineup for Round House Theatre’s 44th Season. Following a historic season of digital performances, Round House will welcome audiences back into its Bethesda theatre for live, in-person productions with a slate of shows designed to transport them around the world.
Magic Theatre Announces Next Artistic Director, Sean San José

Magic Theatre has announced that Sean San José will be the company’s next Artistic Director, succeeding Loretta Greco in the post. San José will begin working with Magic Theatre in June 2021 on a part-time basis, transitioning to full-time in August 2021.

Artists throughout the state of California are uniting for the passage of Senate Bill 805 (SB 805), titled, “The Performing Arts Relief Act,” which the Senate Labor Committee will vote on Wednesday, April 19, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in Sacramento, CA. A Coalition of 36 small 99-seat non-profit theaters and freelance performers are banding together to make theater accessible to all.
