The best of Broadway was at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre on Thursday, where The Piano Lesson, directed by Tony Award nominee LaTanya Richardson Jackson and starring Samuel L. Jackson, John David Washington, and Danielle Brooks, opened on Broadway. The official film poster for Disney's upcoming The Little Mermaid live action remake has been released. The photo features a new look at Halle Bailey as Ariel. The movie will also star Daveed Diggs as Sebastian, Melissa McCarthy as Ursula, Jacob Tremblay as Flounder, Jonah Hauer-King as Prince Eric, Awkwafina as Scuttle, and more.

The Hudson Theatre was the place to be as stars of stage and screen came out to celebrate opening night of Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman. The Longacre Theatre was the place to be earlier this week as the best of Broadway came out to celebrate the arrival of Leopoldstadt, Tom Stoppard's Olivier Award-winning Best New Play, directed by two-time Tony Award nominee Patrick Marber. The RSC has announced that Daniel Evans and Tamara Harvey, will be the Co-Artistic Directors of the Royal Shakespeare Company taking up the post from June 2023.

Donmar Warehouse presents UK première of Lucas Hnath’s A Doll’s House, Part 2. Joining Noma Dumezweni as Nora are Patricia Allison (Emmy), Brían F. O'Byrne (Torvald), and June Watson (Anne Marie). James Macdonald’s production, in a reconfigured Donmar in the round, opens on 16 June, with previews from 10 June, and runs until 6 August.

Donmar Warehouse Artistic Director Michael Longhurst and Executive Director Henny Finch today announce the full cast for the UK première of Lucas Hnath's A Doll's House, Part 2. Joining Noma Dumezweni as Nora are Patricia Allison (Emmy), Brían F. O'Byrne (Torvald), and June Watson (Anne Marie). James Macdonald's production, in a reconfigured Donmar in the round, opens on 16 June, with previews from 10 June, and runs until 6 August.

Images have been released following last night’s press night of Bonnie and Clyde the musical, attended by the show’s writing team Frank Wildhorn, Don Black and Ivan Menchell alongside Noma Dumezweni, Amelia Lily, Kevin Clifton, AJ Pritchard, Abbie Quinnen, Samantha Barks, Christopher Chung and Rachael Wooding.

Based on the novel by Alissa Nutting, MADE FOR LOVE is a poignantly humorous story of modern love and divorce. Season One followed Hazel Green (Cristin Milioti), a thirty-something woman on the run after ten years in a suffocating marriage to tech billionaire Byron Gogol (Billy Magnussen), as smart as he is insufferable.

The winners have been unveiled for this year’s Olivier Awards with Mastercard, British theatre’s biggest night, which took place this evening (Sunday 10 April) at the Royal Albert Hall in London, hosted by Jason Manford.
