Rep Stage, the professional regional theatre in residence at Howard Community College (HCC), opens its 26th season with  "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street," directed and choreographed by Joseph W. Ritsch with music direction by Stacey Antoine. Set in modern-day East London, this production of the Stephen Sondheim and Hugh Wheeler Tony Award-winning musical thriller features a diverse ensemble of eight and a chamber orchestra of keyboard, violin, and woodwinds.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will bring its 2018 Mega-Mini Season to a close this summer with an extended run of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, the international family favorite musical adapted for the stage from the 1991 animated movie.

After a brief hiatus at the beginning of the year, Way Off Broadway is kicking off its 2018 Family Theatre Series season with the return of The Berenstain Bears on Stage! The show, which first premiered at the theatre in 2015, will have a limited engagement for its second go-around, running April 21st - May 20th, with six performances only.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre has taken on one of Stephen Sondheim's romping classics: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum! In 2002, The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre opened its season with a set of new owners and the hilarious musical comedy farce A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Sixteen years later, the Kiska family, who purchased the theatre in 2002, and Way Off Broadway are very excited to see the return of one of the funniest shows to ever appear on the WOB stage. Forum will continue the theatre's 2018 Mega-Mini Season, running March 23rd - May 19th.
