Fundamental Theater Project is delighted to present Alone With Friends, a newly commissioned, romantic-comedy in one act by Ben Holbrook. The play is presented as part of Holiday House NYC, an annual interior design showcase in aide of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and in collaboration with Ally Coulter Design.

On June 11, Anthony Rapp (Rent) guest starred in special reading of 'The Pride' by Alexi Kaye Campbell, as part of afundraising initiative for Fundamental Theatre Project's upcoming season. The evening was hosted by FTP Patrons, Scott Mitchell and Ed Neppl. The one-night reading also helped raise awareness for 'Minnesotans United For All Families', an equal rights organization. Anthony Rapp, Scott Adist, Jon McCormick, Nicola Murphy, Spencer Aste, Jeffrey Omura, Jennifer Van Dyck, Jonathan Walker and Sam Underwood are set to star in '3D Hamlet: A Lost Generation.' The film, presented by Fundamental Theater Project, will play the The Irish Arts Center, July 21-24.

The Drilling Company's Shakespeare in the Park(ing) Lot will open its 2010 season with 'Love's Labours Lost,' directed by Kathy Curtis, July 8 to 24. The season will also include 'Julius Caesar,' directed by Hamilton Clancy, July 29 to August 14. This is the 19th consecutive year for Shakespeare in the Park(ing) Lot, a favorite New York summertime cultural treat that is performed free in a municipal parking lot at the corner of Ludlow and Broome Streets, Manhattan.

The last time Sam Underwood appeared on stage he was completely naked. He was playing Alan Strang in the much lauded production of Peter Schaffer's EQUUS at East Hampton (NY)'s John Drew Theatre. Those who are familiar with the play know that it culminates in a 20 minute nude scene for the actor playing the tormented young Strang. How then would the actor be recognized when he walked into a restaurant in New York City fully clothed?
