Natalie Toro's New Broadway Themed CD To Be Released 11/24

NATALIE TORO most recently received accolades for her portrayal of Madame Therese Defarge on Broadway in 'A TALE OF TWO CITIES' a role for which she won Sarasota Magazine's Best Supporting Actress Award when the show played its pre-Broadway run at the Asolo Repertory Theatre. BROADWAY: Les Mis?rables, A Christmas Carol. OFF-B'WAY: Zombie Prom. NATIONAL TOURS: Evita (Jeff Award nomination), Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar. REGIONAL: The Fix, Everything's Ducky, Francis of Guernica, Blood Brothers, Zorba. TELEVISION: 'Law & Order,' 'Law & Order: SVU,' 'Santa Baby.' FEATURED SOLOIST: Carnegie Hall, National Concert Hall in Dublin, Kentucky and Buffalo Symphonies. Natalie's new CD, entitled Natalie Toro, will be released nationally on Monday, November 24th. She is being honored tonight by the Bronx Borough president, Adolfo Carrion, Jr. as part of PUERTO RICAN HERITAGE MONTH.

A TALE OF TWO CITIES Ends Broadway Run Today, 11/9

Executive Producers Barbra Russell and Ron Sharpe will close Jill Santoriello's sweeping musical epic, 'A TALE OF TWO CITIES' on Broadway today, Sunday, November 9th at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenues). The musical moved the date of closing up a week from the originally announced final performance of November 16th. The early closing was confirmed to BroadwayWorld by a spokesperson for the production.

Executive Producers Barbra Russell and Ron Sharpe will close Jill Santoriello's sweeping musical epic, 'A TALE OF TWO CITIES' on Broadway on Sunday, November 9th at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenues). The production originally announced a closing date of November 16th, but has now chosen to move up the final performance to this Sunday, November 9th.

European producer Werner Signer announced the workshop of 'The Count Of Monte Cristo,' the latest Wildhorn/Murphy collaboration, which opens in St. Gallen, Switzerland on March 24, 2009. The European pre-cast recording, which was recorded in Vienna in English with both European stars and Brandi Burkhardt as Mercedes, has been #1 on the European charts for two weeks now.

In A Tale of Two Cities she stars as Madame Therese Defarge. In the third of a series of BWW TV interviews with the cast of the new Broadway bound musical, she shares her personal insight into the character of Defarge, finding new inspiration during rehearsals and how the story continues to be emotional for her as it readies for the first preview performance.
