On Jan. 21, 2013, Larson and Rodgers Award winning composer-lyricist Ryan Scott Oliver returned to Joe's Pub with a collection of work from his musicals Out of My Head (2005), Mrs. Sharp (2007), Darling (2009), 35mm (2010), Jasper in Deadland (2011), The Frog Prince Cont. A reading of MY LIFE IS A MUSICAL, a new musical by Adam Overett with direction by Marlo Hunter and music direction by Christopher D. Littlefield, will be presented at the Soho Playhouse at 7:00pm on Monday, February 11, as part of the TRU New Voices Musical Reading Series.

Tonight, October 15, 2012, New York Theatre Barn will present NYTB in the D-Lounge, its monthly concert for emerging musical theatre writers (now in its 6th year), at the Daryl Roth Theatre. The October 2012 installment of NYTB in the D-Lounge features an excerpt from the new musical Academia Nuts called Speaking Geek: The Songs of Academia Nuts, as well as a selection of songs by Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson. The monthly series is executive produced by Laura Brandel and Jason Najjoum.

Musical Mondays Theatre Lab announces a concert of new songs from their upcoming seasons as well as songs from the soon to be released Sh-K-Boom/Ghostlght CD with live performances of brand new theatre songs from the Tony Award-winning Musical Theatre Workshop. The concert event has no admission charge and reservations are not being taken. 4 show Musical Mondays subscribers will receive a complimentary demo sampler copy of the CD. The concert will take place at the Jerry Orbach Theater in the Snapple Theater Center, 210 West 50th at 6:30 PM tonight, Oct 11.
