The Choir will be the first production to emerge from a partnership between The Citizens Theatre and Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG), which was launched to create brand new musical theatre using the talent of local writers and composers.

African Children's Choir Partners with Sara Hickman for 'Love is a Journey'

There, Texan singer/songwriter, Sara Hickman, worked with a group of children from the school to write tracks featured on this stunning album, highlighting not only the children's incredible singing talent, but also their ability to write beautiful music.

WFUV Programs to Salute Pete Seeger this Weekend

This Sunday, May 4, 2014, two programs on WFUV (90.7 FM/wfuv.org), Sunday Breakfast and Woody's Children, will honor the memory of Pete Seeger, the day after the folk music legend and activist would have turned 95. Seeger, who wrote or co-wrote classics such as “If I Had a Hammer,” “Turn, Turn, Turn,” and “Where Have All the Flowers Gone,” died on January 27th of this year, just six months after the death of Toshi, his beloved wife of nearly 70 years.
