The critically acclaimed production of OSLO, currently playing to sold-out houses at the National Theatre, transfers to the Harold Pinter Theatre from 2 October until 30 December. A series of special events has been announced to celebrate International Day of Peace on 21 September.

We need more waffles in diplomacy. Or rather more personal connections to bridge those vast divides. So believed the Norwegian couple who orchestrated secret peace talks in 1993 between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization - a slice of stranger-than-fiction history grippingly dramatised in JT Rogers' play, which deservedly picked up this year's Tony Award.

The Lincoln Center Theater's critically acclaimed production of OSLO, is now previewing at the National Theatre with press performances on 15, 16, 18 September). The production then transfers to the Harold Pinter Theatre in London's West End (2 October - 30 December 2017). Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop) has announced that it will extend the run of J.T. Rogers' OLSO, winner of the 2017 Tony Award for Best Play, through Sunday, July 16 at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.

A decade after her last foray on Broadway, two-time Tony winner Jennifer Ehle is back in the groundbreaking Oslo. Her performance as peace negotiator 'Mona Juul' has brought her back to the Tonys party and she couldn't be more thrilled!

When J.T. Rogers' fascinating play about the power and beauty of human interaction and diplomacy, OSLO, premiered Off-Broadway this past July at Lincoln Center's Mitzi Newhouse Theater, it was a week before the national convention where Donald Trump was to be voted in as the Republican party's presidential candidate. While a good deal of the country was surprised to see the celebrity businessman who had never held a political office get so far in the election process, New York playgoers, a predominantly left-leaning bunch, were most likely optimistic, though cautiously so, that his candidacy would collapse during the general election.
