Fresh from the critically acclaimed run of Light In the Piazza at the Southbank Centre, and before they jet off for runs of the show at the LA Opera House and The Lyric Opera, Chicago, the Light in the Piazza ensemble are proud to present a concert of music close to their hearts, in London for one night only.

Following a triumphant opening night, for the rest of this week until Saturday the 3rd of August, Molly Lynch 'Rodgers & Hammerstein (& Me Too)'  to The Bread and Roses Theatre. 

Molly Lynch is currently in rehearsals for “Rodgers and Hammerstein (& Me Too)” which she brings to The Bread and Roses Theatre from July 30th - August 3rd fresh from a run of The Light in the Piazza” where she understudied the role of Clara and went on to great acclaim.

The sumptuous and unforgettable romantic musical THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA makes its long-awaited London debut at the Royal Festival Hallon 14 th June to 5 th July 2019.

Scenario Two have announced that three-time Olivier Award winner and current BAFTA nominee, Alex Jennings (My Fair Lady, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. The Queen, Bridget Jones: The Edge, Babel, The Lady in the Van and most recently the critically acclaimed Netflix series The Crown and Unforgotten for which he has been nominated for Best Supporting Actor) will complete the cast for the London premiere of the acclaimed Broadway musical The Light in the Piazza. A stunning story about the life-changing thrill of first love, Jennings will play Signor Naccarelli the father of dashing Italian lover, Fabrizio.

The Brown Arts Initiative (BAI) at Brown University will present YOMO/Intermedia, an experimental dance, music, media and visual art performance, at the Granoff Center for the Creative Arts at Brown University on April 1 and 2, 2019.

Scenario Two have announced further casting for the London debut of the acclaimed Broadway musical The Light in the Piazza. The Light in the Piazza will be performed in a full staging at the Royal Festival Hall in a limited run of only twenty performances directed by Olivier award-winner, Daniel Evans, designed by Robert Jones with costumes by Brigitte Reiffenstuel, lighting by Mark Henderson and sound by Mick Potter. The ravishing score will be played by the 35 piece orchestra of Opera North under the baton of Kimberly Grigsby, conductor of the original Lincoln Center production.

After Lin-Manuel Miranda's smash hit Hamilton and the newly opened Six, Christopher Ash and Carl Miller's rockumentary Wasted takes a good look at the achievements and heartbreaks of the Bronte siblings. The lives of Charlotte (Natasha Barnes), Emily (Siobhan Athwal), Anne (Molly Lynch), and Branwell (Matthew Jacob Morgan) are turned into a headbanging musical in the resurgence of stage retellings of history.

Through the lens of a rock documentary, Wasted is a brand new musical that gives an access-all-areas account of the struggles, heartbreaks and triumphs of the three Bronte sisters Charlotte, Emily, Anne, and their brother Branwell. Brought up in a remote, poverty-stricken town in Yorkshire, without money or opportunity, they fought ill health, unrequited love and family feuds to write some of the most celebrated literature including Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights.

On Sunday 24 June Leicester's Curve kicked off its 10th birthday celebrations in style with a glittering Gala event.

On Friday 18 May, Leicester's Curve theatre hosted its latest Season Preview event, including performances, exciting announcements and in-depth discussions with those involved in work being produced in and visiting the theatre in the near future.

Starring Ria Jones as Norma Desmond, and Danny Mac as Joe Gillis, the story of romance and obsession is based on Billy Wilder's film, with Don Black and Christopher Hampton's book and lyrics. The score, performed by a full orchestra, includes the title number Sunset Boulevard, and With One Look, As If We Never Said Goodbye, The Greatest Star Of All and The Perfect Year.

The UK Tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber's hit SUNSET BOULEVARD is coming to the Koninklijk Theater! This touring production stars Ria Jones, Glenn Close's understudy in the recent West End production, as Norma Desmond, as well as Danny Mac as Joe Gillis. SUNSET BOULEVARD will open at the Koninklijk Theater on March 28th and run through April 8th.

A leading laboratory for new dance in the U.S.,  the 15th annual National Choreographers Initiative will take place this summer from July 9 to July 28. Artistic Director, Molly Lynch, has invited four choreographers – Kevin Jenkins, David Justin, Ilya Kozadayev and Mariana Oliveira to leading this summer's project. 

The 17th annual Tribeca Film Festival, presented by AT&T, revealed its feature film lineup championing the discovery of emerging voices and celebrating new work from established filmmaking talent. To close the Festival, Tribeca will World Premiere The Fourth Estate, from Oscar®-nominated director Liz Garbus, which follows The New York Times' coverage of the Trump administration's first year. The Centerpiece Gala will be the World Premiere of Drake Doremus' sci-fi romance Zoe starring Ewan McGregor, Lea Seydoux, Rashida Jones, and Theo James. The 2018 Tribeca Film Festival takes place April 18-29.

Having enjoyed a wildly successful 2016 revival starring Glenn Close at the London Coliseum and a Broadway engagement in 2017, it seems fitting that Sunset Boulevard has embarked on a UK tour following a run at Leicester's Curve. With Artistic Director Nikolai Foster at the helm, this new production is a sleek, sophisticated and utterly riveting take on an Andrew Lloyd Webber classic.
