Fresh off an extraordinarily successful film festival run, Ann Lupo ("Documented") shares her exciting new voice as a filmmaker in her feature film directorial debut "In Reality." "In Reality" takes us beyond the established romantic comedy rules, held steadfast since the 1980's, into the confusing morass that is dating in 2019, where communication is often missing as we search for a real connection. A dynamic female-led production led by a gifted self-taught first time filmmaker. Lupo tackles the complex filmmaking disciplines of directing, writing and editing while emerging as the voice of a generation. "In Reality" speaks to our search for love in a world overcome with friend-zone frenzy and erratic hook-ups masquerading love. The filmmakers have chosen to partner with Giant Pictures to release the film theatrically in Los Angeles, CA on March 29th, 2019, before expanding into other markets as it will also make its VOD/Digital debut on April 2nd, 2019 alongside its theatrical run.

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T) announces the cast and creative team for Endlings by Celine Song. Directed by Sammi Cannold and featuring Wai Ching Ho, Emily Kuroda, Jiehae Park, and Jo Yang, Endlings begins previews Tuesday, February 26; opens Friday, March 1; and closes Sunday, March 17, 2019 at the Loeb Drama Center in Cambridge, MA.

The LA Film Festival, produced by Film Independent, announced the winners of the 2018 Festival at the Awards Reception at the W Hotel in Hollywood presided over by Festival Director Jennifer Cochis and Film Independent President Josh Welsh. Directed by Tracy Brigden, the Broadway smash hit and Tony Award nominated play begins previews July 20 and runs through August 26, 2018.

Some may turn to their faith for support during trying times. Others, like the young man in TheaterWorks' HAND TO GOD, channel anger, fear and confusion into a demonic and controlling puppet. Yes, you read that right. In Robert Askins' Tony Award nominated play, young Jason and his evil puppet alter ego, Tyrone, wreak havoc on a small Texas church and raunchy, rude, unhinged hilarity ensues.

It's always interesting when sequels are written to famous works because, in order to succeed, they must project some of the same style, skill, and taste of the original author. But, Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon have crafted a play that carries on some of the same wit and charm that the book in question, Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, possesses. That makes MISS BENNET: CHRISTMAS AT PEMBERLEY an appealing new addition to the story, with the bookworm Mary finally given her due as a character. While she's certainly less exacting here than in Austen's work, a characteristic derived from her overly studious nature, she's still sort of a nerd-ish young woman with more of a thirst for knowledge than any outwardly evidenced desire for the flesh. The Repertory Theatre St. Louis has wrapped this holiday gift quite nicely, and what's more, there's an enjoyable and entertaining story inside that's both funny and touching. A nice new addition to the usual holiday fare, MISS BENNETT: CHRISTMAS AT PEMBERLEY is a warm return to the world of Jane Austen's characters as witnessed through a new set of lenses. A charming treat for the season!

George Street Playhouse today announced the cast of Rob Urbinati's Mama's Boy, which runs October 18 through November 6 at the New Brunswick theatre. Betsy Aidem (Broadway's All the Way, GSP's God of Carnage) stars as Marguerite Oswald, the headstrong mother of Lee Harvey Oswald, played by Michael Goldsmith (TV's Doctor Who, Gotham).
