The Tank Hosts World Premiere Of Lizzie Stern's LET'S GET READY TOGETHER

The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) will present the World Premiere of Lizzie Stern's Let's get ready together, directed by Lily Riopelle at The Tank (312 West 36th Streetbetween 8th and 9th Avenues), May 30-June 10. Performances will be Wednesday, May 30, Thursday, May 31, Friday, June 1, Saturday, June 2, Sunday, June 3, Monday, June 4, Wednesday, June 6, Thursday, June 7, Friday, June 8, Saturday, June 9, and Sunday, June 10 at 7 pm. Tickets ($15) are available for advance purchase at www.thetanknyc.org. The performance will run approximately 90 minutes, with no intermission.

This two-year residency offers companies an artistic home for the development and presentation of a new work. Each residency culminates with a world premiere production. Now in its fifth year, the Archive Residency is a collaboration between New Ohio Theatre and IRT Theater (likeminded neighbors in the historic Archive Building in the West Village).

The Tank (Meghan Finn and Rosalind Grush, Artistic Directors) will hold their 15th Anniversary Gala on Tuesday, May 22 at their home, 312 West 36th Street (between 8th and 9th Avenues). The event will honor Randi Berry of IndieSpace, an organization that creates 'permanent real estate solutions for the independent theater community'. IndieSpace was instrumental in finding The Tank's new home, and we'll be celebrating The Tank's home, history, and future with this exciting event. Live Ideas 2018: Radical Vision Festival Explores The Role Of The Press Today

Friday, April 20, day two of Live Ideas 2018: Radical Vision looks into the role of the press, what it means to be a journalist in an endangered liberal democracy, and what obligations the press has today. Opening the day will be visual artist Huiying B. Chan, who will read words by legendary activist Grace Lee Boggs, followed by author and journalist Moustafa Bayoumi's reading of works by Edward Said and a presentation of speeches by Muhammad Ali read by journalist Greg Tate. The readings will start at 4 pm. Admission is free.
