Montreal-based Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group (“Cirque du Soleil”) has announced that their newly appointed Creative Guide, Michel Laprise, will be in Austin, TX, for SXSW and participating in Quebec Day on March 13, 2023.

Due to phenomenal demand, Cirque du Soleil has announced further dates for KURIOS: Cabinet of Curiosities at the Royal Albert Hall. After a two-year intermission, Cirque du Soleil returns to Toronto under the Big Top, as more than 2,500 guests attended the red carpet premiere to celebrate the relaunch of its critically acclaimed, phenomenal production, KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities.

Cirque du Soleil today announced the final Sydney season extension of their most acclaimed touring show to date, KURIOS a?" Cabinet of Curiosities. A final two weeks of shows have been added to the Sydney season from Wednesday 18 December through Sunday 29 December. Cirque du Soleil went on to say that no further extension is possible as KURIOS will be moving to Brisbane to open on 10 January, then to Melbourne, Adelaide and finally Perth.  New Sydney shows on sale Friday 1 November via cirquedusoleil.com/kurios.

KURIOS will premiere under their Signature Big Top on 2 October 2019 in Sydney at Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park. Written and directed by Michel Laprise, KURIOS - Cabinet of Curiosities is a tale in which time comes to a complete stop, transporting the audience inside a fantasy world where everything is possible. In this realm set in the latter half of the nineteenth century, reality is quite relative indeed as our perception of it is utterly transformed.

KURIOS, Cabinet of Curiosities, written and directed by Michel Laprise, creates a world vaguely 19th-century, with overtones of the French filmmaker Georges Melies. It's a world populated by fantastic beings, all going about their business with a will, whatever that business may be. It doesn't really matter though, because your disbelief is suspended from the first scene.
