As the first signs of spring are appearing in New York, it's heating up at nationally-syndicated morning talk show "LIVE with Kelly and Michael." During the May sweep, an exciting lineup of A-list celebrities and top musicians will visit hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan. The lineup for May will also include theme weeks such as "Top Teacher Week," "New You in New York Makeover Week," "Winner Week" and "Kelly & Michael's Fitness Challenge."

Netflix's HOUSE OF CARDS Set for June DVD Release

Don't want to fork out the basic Netflix package of $7.99 a month to check out HOUSE OF CARDS? Amazon is currently taking preorders for the series' DVD release - apparently set for June 11. Sony Entertainment, as Deadline reports, hasn't made the official announcement that the Kevin Spacey-led series would even get a DVD release, but according to Amazon, it obviously is. The online marketplace is now offering the first (and potentially only) season of CARDS for a special pre-order price of $44.99.

The Company Members of Labyrinth Theater Company, the award-winning, downtown ensemble, have announced today casting for its upcoming NEWYORKNEWYORK Festival Marathon Weekend, which will feature forty-eight hours of free, round-the-clock readings of plays centered around New York themes - iconic playwrights, vibrant cultures, urban ideals, and more.
Over 180 actors will participate in the marathon weekend of free play readings including: Max Casella, Sarita Chowdhury, Liza Colon-Zayas, Kieran Culkin, Tony Danza, John Doman, Tate Donovan, Halley Feiffer, Michael Kelly, Elizabeth Kemp, Josh Hamilton, Sarah Nina Hayon, Florencia Lozano, Julia Murney, Tony Plana, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Julia Stiles, Marlo Thomas, and Yul Vazquez. The marathon will feature classic works by over twenty esteemed New York playwrights, including Maria Irene Fornes, Lorraine Hansberry, David Henry Hwang, Kenneth Lonnergan, Arthur Miller, Clifford Odets, Miguel Pinero, and more.
