Northrop announces its 2019-20 Film Series, featuring several award-winning films with diverse artistic voices from around the world. From a film adaptation of F. Irish dance company Teac DamsaHouse of Dance has just announced that its production of Swan Lake (or in the Irish language translation, Loch na hEala) will embark on an extensive US and Canada tour, opening the Next Wave Festival 2019 at BAM, New York, before touring to Minneapolis, Ottawa, Los Angeles, Michigan, and North Carolina for six weeks.

BAM Artistic Director David Binder today announced programming for his first artistic season, the Next Wave 2019. With 16 adventurous engagements by artists making BAM debuts, the season includes theater, dance, music, film, site-specific, and multi-genre work across BAM's venues and off-site, as well as Holiday programming.

According to Deadline, Netflix set initial casting on its first ever original musical JINGLE JANGLE. Keegan-Michael Key, Phylicia Rashad, Anika Noni Rose, and Madalen Mills have joined Forest Whitaker in the cast. The film is set to be written and directed by David E. Talbert. the film will be set for release in 2020.

After a smash-hit season on London's West End, home-grown dance quintet, The Tap Pack are returning Down Under to make their triumphant debut at the Sydney Opera House.
