In a new featurette, the award winning songwriting team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul discuss composing music for the highly anticipated movie musical THE GREATEST SHOWMAN.

The company of The Greatest Showman met the press this week and stars Hugh Jackman and Keala Settle were on hand to promote their new film. Hugh Jackman discussed the making of the film with members of the press while Keala belted out her showstopping solo, This Is Me, accompanied by Justin Paul. Check out video of the event below.

'Afraid Of Heights' is one of 14 new songs taken from the cd 'The Christmasaurus'. The video is based on the true story of teenager Lily Rice, who is the first European female to perform a backflip in a wheelchair. Lily accomplished the feat in Cardiff after 6 hours of practicing. 'The Greatest Showman' (hitting theatres on December 25) is a bold and original musical that celebrates the birth of show business and the sense of wonder we feel when dreams come to life. Inspired by the ambition and imagination of P.T. Barnum, 'The Greatest Showman' tells the story of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a mesmerizing spectacle that became a worldwide sensation.

Variety is reporting that three-time Tony Award winner, Alex Lacamoire, the genius behind the sounds of 'Hamilton' and 'Dear Evan Hansen', has signed onto the upcoming major motion picture, The Greatest Showman. 

On Wednesday, ET will share a sneak peek at the official trailer for the highly anticipated film THE GREATEST SHOWMAN, starring Hugh Jackman, Zach Efron, Zendaya and Keala Settle. The movie features original music from the Tony winning team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The full trailer is out on Wednesday, June 28th.

During his appearance at today's CinemaCon, Hugh Jackman debuted footage from his highly anticipated musical film THE GREATEST SHOWMAN. Speaking to an audience of theater owners, the Tony winner explained, 'This movie is about taking risks...and that is what is going to propel this business.'

Variety reports that Zendaya is currently in talks to join Tony Award winner Hugh Jackman in the upcoming P.T. Barnum biopic THE GREATEST SHOWMAN ON EARTH.
