Bio musicals are tricky in their own way, but what's it like when the source of the life's story is sitting in the fifth row? Stephanie J. Block, Jarrod Spector, and the cast of The Cher Show found this out firsthand when the iconic diva snuck in to see the show's Chicago debut. They chat with WGN about the experience and the show below!

Cher swung by the out of town tryout of her new musical this week and went nose to nose backstage with the three actresses who share the mammoth task of portraying this American icon. Stephanie J. Block tweeted an exclusive photo from Cher meeting the Chers of The Cher Show. 

The Cher Show has begun previews in Chicago, and who better to catch an early look than Cher herself! The superstar stopped by the Oriental Theatre for three performances this past weekend to check out the show. 'Some parts of it are really fabulous. We're going to work on the other parts. In many parts, it was much, much better than I thought it would be. And there were no parts where I wanted to gouge my eyes out,' she tells the Chicago Tribune. 'It needs work. I'm not supposed to say that but I don't care.'

After auditioning performers in New York City, Los Angeles and Sacramento, Broadway Sacramento has confirmed casting for the six shows in the 68th Broadway At Music Circus season. The casts include a number of Broadway veterans-some of whom are making their Broadway At Music Circus debuts-and audience favorites from previous Broadway At Music Circus productions.

There's a land that you've heard of, once in a lullaby. It's a land of witches and wizards, talking animals and munchkins, and sorcery and dreams. Wicked transports audiences to the Land of Oz where the untold story of its witches unfold on stage in the most elaborate of fashions.
