On Wednesday, June 5, Fundamental Theatre Project will present Benjamin Button - A New Musical, as a part of Mass Rhetoric: A New Works Festival. With music by Natalie Tenenbaum and a book and lyrics by Brett Boles, the project will be directed by Stephen Nachamie and will feature Daniel Reichard, Melissa van der Schyff, Hunter Herdlicka, T.J. Mannix, James Donegan, Mark Willis Borum, Lauren Downie, Isabel Nesti, Lindsay Gallagher, Sena Lee, Alysia Dorhout, Heath Chaney, Chris Withers, Xalvador Tin-Bradbury

The Broadway at Birdland partnership with multi-Grammy and Tony nominated composer Frank Wildhorn continues with another 'Frank & Friends' concert tonight, February 4 at 7pm. The series of very special one-night-only concerts celebrates the songs and favorite performers from the composer's wide range of work in popular, theatrical and classical music. All profits will go to The Actors Fund, anationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in the performing arts and entertainment.

Drury Lane Theatre, 100 Drury Lane, makes a splash with the effervescent musical comedy SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, opening November 30 and running through January 13, 2013. SINGIN' IN THE RAIN features one of the largest all-star casts ever assembled on the Drury Lane stage, led by Tony Yazbeck. Yazbeck's Broadway creditsinclude starring as "Billy Flynn" in the long running revival of CHICAGO, "Phil Davis" in Irving Berlin's White Christmas, "Tulsa" in the recent revival of Gypsy starring Patti LuPone (for which he earned an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination), "Al" in A Chorus Line, Never Gonna Dance, Oklahoma! and Gypsy with Tyne Daly. His Off-Broadway credits include the City Center Encores! productions of On The Town, Gypsy, The Apple Tree, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn and Pardon My English, as well as the York Theatre production of Fanny Hill.

2012 Drama Desk Award and Outer Critics Circle Award nominee Melissa Van der Schyff (Bonnie & Clyde), fellow 2012 Drama Desk Award nominee, Claybourne Elder (One Arm, also seen in Bonnie & Clyde) and Darren Ritchie (Broadway's Wonderland: Alice's New Musical Adventure, Dracula, the Musical, Little Shop of Horrors) will star in a special industry reading of Vincent Delaney's new play Foreclosure, presented by Mondays Dark Theatre Company as part of the TRU ("Theater Resources Unlimited") New Play Reading Series, on Monday, June 4 at 7:00 PM at the Roy Arias Off-Broadway Theater in Manhattan.

The Tony Awards will be broadcast in a live three-hour ceremony from the Beacon Theatre, on the CBS television network on Sunday, June 10, 2012.

Melissa van der Schyff (Bonnie & Clyde), Victor Hernandez (Bonnie & Clyde), and Andrea Ross (Whistle Down the Wind) will star in Death Valley DQ, a new 10-minute play by Brett Ryback (Darling, The Tavern Keeper's Daughter). The play will premiere as part of American Globe Theatre's 18th Annual 15-minute Play Festival at 8pm on April 29, 2012. Brendan Naylor directs.

Now, Group Sales promo emails for the show indicate there as well that the show will play its final performance on Broadway on December 30th. The press office for the show currently has no comment or announcement on the ticket sales or the show's future.

A long-standing opening night tradition on the Great White Way, the fabled Gypsy Robe is bestowed upon a veteran Broadway chorus member for each opening production. In what has now become a theatrical ritual, originating on Broadway 60 years ago, the latest receipient was SBONNIE & CLYDE cast member Tad Wilson at the Schoenberg Theatre in New York City.

BONNIE & CLYDE opened on Thursday, December 1, at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre. As of today, it appears the producers have taken tickets off sale through Telecharge.com past December 30, 2011. (Telecharge.com is selling for the show through this date, however). No official announcement as to why the production has pulled tickets past the 30th has been made.
