As the Broadway production of MARY POPPINS comes to a close, we tracked down all the past and current kids who played the iconic roles of Jane and Michael Banks, from the original cast in 2006 to the current group as they take their final bow on March 3, 2013.

For over ten years, composer/producer/pianist Neil Berg (The Prince & The Pauper, The Twelve, Grumpy Old Men,100 Years of Broadway) has brought Town Hall theater goers evenings filled with Broadway hits, Pop classics and Holiday favorites. And this year proved to be no different!

CAROLS FOR A CURE is the annual two-disc holiday CD compilation of original songs and holiday classics which benefits BC/EFA. These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. A full track list for this year's 14th edition has not yet been announced, but the cast of Broadway's NEWSIES was already hard a work yesterday recording their track for the album. Newsies has just announced that Corey Cott will become the show's new leading man, Jack Kelly, beginning Wednesday, September 5th. Cott became the Jack Kelly alternate earlier this month and will continue as alternate until he assumes the role full time.

Variety reports that ELF is indeed headed back to Broadway this winter, and that the show will play the Al Hirschfeld Theater for 9 weeks, from November 9 to January 6 before KINKY BOOTS takes the theatre in the Spring.

On Wednesday, July 18th, Joan Rivers attended NEWSIES on Broadway with her grandson and his friend. She raved about the show backstage and said that she especially loved the choreography and the energy of the cast. Check out photos of Rivers with the cast below!

In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES star Christian Bale chatted about a previous gig- starring in the original movie version of Newsies back in 1992. Bale said of the new Broadway show: 'They're having the success our movie never had. I'm not really into musicals. But I wish them the best.'

On the same night that Jon Favreau came to see NEWSIES on Broadway, Joe Torre took his family to the Tony Award-winning production. Jeremy Jordan, a huge fan of Torre's and of baseball in general, was honored to try on Torre's World Series ring. Check out a photo of Jordan and Torre below!

Heidi Klum took in one of Broadway's hottest shows, NEWSIES, on Saturday, July 7th.
