Milford's Second Street Players offer a solid presentation of a cleverly plotted murder mystery

Carol Fredette is everything you need in a jazz singer. Originally produced as a live teleplay in 1954,"12 Angry Men" by Reginald Rose is a contemporary classic about a young man on trial for allegedly murdering his father. Although it seems to be an open-and-shut case, there is but one lone juror among the twelve who is not convinced of the defendant's guilt. Through this juror's careful examination of the evidence, he demonstrates to the rest of the jury that there just may be the possibility that this young man is innocent and causes the other jurors to question their preconceived notions. This play's enthralling and controversial debate over this young man's fate will keep you on the edge of your seat in anticipation of its final resolution.

The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will present Jekyll & Hyde, described as 'an evocative tale of the epic battle between good and evil, based on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic story,The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, about a brilliant doctor whose experiments with human personality create a murderous counterpart. Convinced the cure for his father's mental illness lies in the separation of Man's evil nature from his good, Dr. Henry Jekyll unwittingly unleashes his own dark side, wreaking havoc in the streets of late 19th century London as the savage, maniacal Edward Hyde.'

The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde has been a part of literary culture and legend since Robert Louis Stevenson first published his novella in 1886. The work was an instant success and is one of Stevenson's bestselling titles.

The Purple Rose Theatre Company is pleased to announce a two-week performance extension of ESCANABA IN DA MOONLIGHT by Jeff Daniels.
