Art House Productions has announced casting for the Virtual INKubator New Play Festival starting tonight, Monday, May 3 through Wednesday, May 19 online via Zoom.

Spring brings blooms and playing outdoors and this year, includes music from Broadway as well as bird songs. Possum Point Players open the 2021 season with 'Broadway Springs Back' performed on their new outdoor stage.

Possum Point Players invite audience members to join them in the sunshine or under the stars as they begin the 2021 theatre season on their new outdoor stage. Opening Friday, April 16, they present 'Broadway Springs Back,' an original, one-of-a-kind theatre experience.

Debuting in May 2020, Seasons 1 (10 Episodes) and Season 2 (15 Episodes) are now available on YouTube, as well as Instagram @kikisclosetshow. Kiki's Closet features roundtable discussions with BIPOC artists, both onstage and behind the scenes.  

After three successful runs in Los Angeles in 2012, 2014, and 2017 at the Pantages, that smut-mouthed, but endearing musical comedy The Book Of Mormon has squatted downtown at the Ahmanson, and third time around, it has lost none of its luster, or its smut.

Felix LA is proud to announce its first-ever Curator of Special Projects, William J. Simmons, who will organize the on-site projects and programming for the fair's second edition, taking place this February 13-16, 2020. Simmons, who received his BA in art history and LGBTQ studies at Harvard University, will highlight themes of gender, queerness, and feminism for Felix LA 2020.

Fifth graders from Plasencia Elementary School and Compton Avenue Elementary STEAM Academy can now call themselves budding composers and songwriters, thanks to participation in the Los Angeles Master Chorale's Voices Within program. The fall series of Voices Within concerts featuring students performing songs they have written will take place on Friday, December 13, 2019 at 9:30am at Plasencia Elementary School and Tuesday December 17, 2019 at 9:30am at Compton Avenue Elementary STEAM Academy.

We sure have missed covering theatre plays in English. Last Thursday, the Théâtre des Capucins opened its doors to Dealing with Clair, a play by British playwright Martin Crimp, which touches upon multiple social dynamics of 1980s London.

WHAT: The Los Angeles Master Chorale will light up this holiday season with four spectacular concerts that include a world premiere by Swan Family Artist-in-Residence Eric Whitacre, the now-classic O Magnum Mysterium by Morten Lauridsen, and Handel's Messiah.
