Creative Cauldron’s 2022-23 Season continues with an original holiday musical, The Christmas Angel, written by Creative Cauldron’s acclaimed resident musical creative team, Matt Conner and Stephen Gregory Smith.

Created and directed by Laura Connors Hull, Lenny Mendez and Will Stevenson, with music by Matt Conner and lyrics by Stephen Gregory Smith, Creative Cauldron's, The Princess and the Goblin is a humor-fueled musical adventure specifically for young audiences but a delight for any age. The Princess and the Goblin runs November 4-20.

Creative Cauldron’s twenty-year anniversary and 2022-23 Season, its first producing entirely original works continues with the Learning Theater original musical: The Princess and the Goblin. The 2021-22 Season “Reignite, Reimagine!” blazes into the holiday season with a Bold New Works Premiere from Matt Conner and Stephen Gregory Smith: The Christmas Angel. Adapted from a little-known 1910 novella by Abbey Farwell Brown, Conner and Smith infuse this story with music, magic, and a touch of modernity, all while maintaining its charming original story about the triumph of the human spirit and the spirit of the season.

All these questions and more are explored in this fresh adaptation of Aesop's Fables, dually inspired by the classic morals of these stories and the troupe of student actors who will bring them to life. This musical play follows the unlikely friendship between Patsy and a devoted fan, Houston housewife Louise Seger, through their letters, and features 19 of Cline's timeless songs.
