Patty Stephens has returned to Don Bluth Front Row Theatre for an all too brief (October 4th-6th) encore as Mary Todd Lincoln in Vaughn McBride's PASS MY IMPERFECTIONS LIGHTLY BY. Clad in Victorian style mourning dress, she delivers a virtuoso performance, embodying the complexity of emotions of one of the most controversial First Ladies in American history.

Virginia Repertory Theatre announces the opening of Sister Act on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the November Theatre/Arenstein Stage, 114 West Broad Street. The show will run through Sunday, January 6, 2019.  Previews will be on Wednesday, November 14 and Thursday, November 15, 2018. With music by Alan Menken, book by Bill and Cheri Steinkellner, lyrics by Glenn Slater and additional book material by Douglas Carter Beane, this uplifting musical comedy is based on the hit 1992 movie starring Whoopi Goldberg.

Lynne Meadow (Artistic Director) and Barry Grove (Executive Producer) just announced that Manhattan Theatre Club's acclaimed world premiere production of Heisenberg, the new play by Tony Award and two-time Olivier Award winner Simon Stephens, directed by Drama Desk Award winner Mark Brokaw, will transfer to the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street), MTC's home on Broadway, this fall starring original cast members Denis Arndt and Tony and Emmy Award winner Mary-Louise Parker.

The Arizona Commission on the Arts and the ASU School of Theatre and Film's Performance in the Borderlands will present an evening of poetry and performance commemorating the release of Sonoran Strange, a book-length poetry collection by Tucson poet Logan Phillips, on Wednesday, February 11, 2015. The event is sponsored by AZ Humanities.
