Blige, an iconic Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, actor and philanthropist, is a figure of inspiration, transformation, and empowerment making her one of the defining voices of the contemporary music era.

A new music drama is being developed at FOX from producer and nine-time Grammy winner Mary J. Blige. Titled 8 COUNT, the project is inspired by the life of choreographer Laurieann Gibson.
