Casting has been announced for the Orlando return engagement of Disney's The Lion King. The show's first appearance in the Walt Disney Theater at Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, and it's third time to Orlando, the four-week engagement runs from February 14 through March 11.

Casting has been announced for the Atlanta return engagement of Disney's The Lion King, which will leap onto the Fox Theatre stage on January 10 for a limited three week engagement through January 28 as a special to the Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta 2017/2018 season.

Only in the magical land of Broadway can you take a 1994 animated Disney movie thinly based on Shakespeare's HAMLET and possibly based on a 1960s Japanese anime series and transform it into a 6-Tony-Award-winning and highest grossing Broadway production in history. Yes, it's 'The Lion King,' which has reached more than 19 million theater goers in its North American tour, playing more than 70 cities across the continent, including Baltimore-'The Lion King' performs on Baltimore's Hippodrome stage now through Sunday, Dec. 10th.

As part of the 2017/2018 CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Hippodrome Broadway Series, Disney's The Lion King opens tonight, Thursday, November 16, at the Hippodrome Theatre for a limited engagement of four weeks through Sunday, December 10.

The excitement in the air in Syracuse, New York has been going on for quite awhile since it was announced that the North American tour of The Lion King would be coming to the Landmark Theatre in late October. The time has finally arrived and the crowds are packed into the theatre, ecstatic to once again see the beloved hit musical's return.

Broadway at W Times Square continues to wow audiences and hotel guests with their new, hit concert series featuring Broadway cast members and their respective shows accompanied by acoustic guitar and cajon. On Sunday, March 19th, cast members from the Disney staple THE LION KING shared their amazing talents in the raw, up-close and intimate setting of W Times Square Hotel. The Broadway return engagement of Motown the Musical, the last stop on the First National Tour, will play its final performance  today at The Nederlander Theatre.

The poet/performer/activist, currently in HAMILTON, brings a powerful lineup to Webster Hall on July 31 for a benefit dedicated to the gay community in Orlando, scene of the horrific shooting at the Pulse nightclub.
