Cancelled TITANIC to be Remounted in Fall 2022 at Milwaukee Repertory Theater

Last week Milwaukee Repertory Theater had to cancel two weeks of nearly sold out performances of Titanic The Musical due to breakthrough cases of COVID-19. In order to not disappoint the 10,000 plus ticket holders, Milwaukee Rep will remount Titanic The Musical in the fall as part of the 2022/23 Season.

Milwaukee Repertory Theater has announced of the passing of its founder Mary John (1925-2022). Born in Green Bay, WI Mary forged a plan to create a professional theater for the city of Milwaukee and established Drama Inc, now Milwaukee Repertory Theater, in 1954.

At the crossroads of the Bard and Beatlemania lies the fantastic As You Like It. Full disclosure: I’m smack-dab in the middle of the target audience, where the Shakespeare-loving (or at least willing) meet Beatles fans. But I believe this genre-mashup would be terrific fun for anyone. The show takes a classic Shakespearean rom-com and threads Beatles songs throughout. And yes, it totally works.
